AVF is a licensed, insured photography and video production company. We use remote-controlled multi-rotor aircraft to provide smooth, real-time, high-definition images. Our methods give you a range of creativity not previously available. In addition to the amazing shots, the reduced time requirements, ease of deployment, and lower mobilization costs provide you with a substantial budget savings! Our multi-rotor copters shoot from elevations of 1-foot to 400-feet above ground level, and up to 17,999-feet above sea level.
Team Approach:
Close integration with your team is the key to a successful shoot. We excel at understanding your needs. Getting the perfect shot is the #1 goal. Safety is the #1 priority. A daily flight crew briefing is held to cover all operations. A safety meeting is held with all personnel involved in the shoot to cover important operational considerations.
Aerial Film Crew:
The crew consists of up to four people with equipment and spares. The Flight Director is the primary liaison and may be remote or on-location. The Pilot will control all aspects of the flight and is capable of functioning as the Cameraman and Flight Engineer. The Cameraman will handle final camera prep and in-flight controls. The Flight Engineer prepares the aircraft for the mission and stages the equipment for each successive flight. The equipment includes Flight-1 and Flight-2 aircraft, as well as a store of critical spare parts, batteries, electrical generators and fuel.
